Terms
The agreement between you and Empyreal Enterprise Pty Ltd when you use Hear Hear.
Last updated 5 November 2026
Who and what
Hear Hear is provided by Empyreal Enterprise Pty Ltd (ABN 20 660 950 541), 7 Hoskins Rd, Landsdale WA 6065, Australia. It lets a host set up an event about one person, collect what guests send in, and run a quiz from it on everyone's phones. By using Hear Hear you agree to these terms.
Hosts
Hosts must be 18 or over. Guests don't need an account; the host is responsible for who they invite.
The host's part
The host is responsible for what the event shares, and for asking before sharing photos of other people or their stories.
What guests send
What a guest sends stays theirs. By sending it, they let the event show it in the quiz and on the keepsake, to everyone who can open them.
What can't be sent
Nothing illegal, nothing hateful, and nothing about someone who would be hurt by it. The host and Hear Hear can remove anything, at any time.
Paying
You pay once per event, at the price Pricing shows for your currency: Australian dollars, US dollars, euros or Mexican pesos. It is charged once; nothing renews and there is no subscription. Only the event's owner pays: a co-organiser can do everything except pay for or delete the event.
Refunds
The event's owner can get a full refund until the AI first starts writing the event's questions, by writing to [email protected]; refunds aren't made in the app. Once the AI has started writing them, even if that first try fails, or the event has started, it can't be refunded. A refund goes back to the card that paid. An event paid with a credit can't be refunded.
Credits
Deleting a paid event before the AI first starts writing its questions gives its credit back to the owner's account instead of a refund; once the AI has started writing them, even if that first try fails, or the event has started, deleting it gives nothing back. A credit never expires and pays for one other event, whatever currency paid for it. Only the owner can spend it. A credit is never refunded in the app; an unused one can be refunded by hand on request to [email protected].
Deleting your account
Deleting your account deletes every event you own and their keepsakes, for everyone, co-organisers and guests included. It forfeits your unused credits and any paid events the AI hasn't started writing questions for, with no refunds.
How long things last
A paid event and its keepsake last a year after the later of the event and the last time anyone opened the keepsake, unless the host deletes them first. A free event and everything sent to it go 60 days after its date, or after the last thing sent or changed if that is later.

We work to keep Hear Hear running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and we may change it over time.
